Studio 12/12 is a full service Interior Design studio, specializing in hospitality design. Built on collaboration and offering the capabilities of a large firm without the layers of overhead. With over 15 years of experience in hospitality & commercial design at leading Toronto firms, Heather works closely with clients to bring projects from concept to completion. Her work is informed by a detailed, hands on and considered approach that creates spaces centred on the guest experience, operational flow & brand identity.

ARIDO protects the public and supports excellence in design by regulating the Interior Design profession in Ontario. Only accredited members who successfully meet rigorous education, experience and testing may legally call themselves an Interior Designer in Ontario.

Our Process

Discovery
We start by getting to know you, your vision, goals, and how the space needs to work for you. This stage includes consultations, site visits, and understanding your brand or lifestyle.
Concept Development
Here's where ideas take shape. We explore mood, materials, and inspiration to define the overall direction and story behind your space.
Design Development
We refine the concept into a tangible design. Layouts, finishes, custom details, and preliminary drawings come together to create a cohesive plan.
Documentation
Our team prepares detailed drawings and specifications to guide construction and ensure precision. Every detail is considered and communicated clearly.
Procurement
We source and manage furnishings, fixtures, and finishes. We handle logistics, lead times, and vendor coordination to keep the project moving smoothly.
Construction & Implementation
Arguably the most important phase.
We collaborate closely with contractors and trades, overseeing progress to ensure the design intent is realized to the highest standard.
Installation & Styling
The final layer. Furnishings are placed, art is hung, and every detail is styled to bring the space fully to life.
Project Completion
We walk through the finished space with you, ensuring every detail aligns with the vision we set out to create.
